Many a times we throw our hands up when we see that things are not happening the way we want it to happen. We get disappointed and dejected, curse and abuse our fate, and reduce ourselves into some sort of a shell. This is particularly true these days where the entire world seems to be filled with doom and gloom over the economy – businesses being shut, jobs being lost through layoffs. Most of us would know about someone or the other who has had to suffer through these bad times – in terms of loosing a job, or in terms of a drastic reduction in the income. Sometimes, we ourselves may be the victim of the situation. Invariably, the people affected by this get into some sort of a shell – something from where they are not at all keen to get out of – mostly defined by an after thought on how the society would look up to them once they have lost a job. There is that air of negativity everywhere.
Those are the times when we well and truly venture out in search of something positive. Those are the times when we feel that anything non-negative is good – because the entire world seems to be filled with negativity. And when you get to see something very positive, you get absolutely thrilled. It’s a “feel good” factor more than anything else. I got something like that today. During one of the routine visits over the news sites, I came across a news item where someone had created his resume in the form of a music video. The name of this chap is Alec Biedrzyicki. I dug a bit about this chap over the internet. According to him, this is a way to be different from the rest of the pack. Whatever be the reason, I absolutely loved it – its refreshing. Hopefully his search for a job gets materialized soon. The world wants more people with his optimism and wits to get ourselves out of the rut that all of us find ourselves in…
